Flight Stewardess Alleged of Answering Back Passenger

A Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight stewardess is alleged of answering back a passenger during flight PR 2201.

According to Facebook user Jong Soo Hwa, the flight stewardess rudely answered a lady passenger who asked why the particular flight was delayed.

Hwa captured the video of the incident and posted it on his Facebook account on March 19 gaining more than 180,000 views and over 600 shares as of posting.

The short video clip showed the flight stewardess telling the passenger “We’re announcing it” in a high-pitched voice. Just moments after she said that, the flight stewardess repeated the statement in a normal pitch.

Towards the end of the video, another flight stewardess approached Hwa, who was recording the video. The flight stewardess politely requested Hwa to delete the video but the latter refused to grant her request.

In the video, Hwa was heard telling the flight stewardess “Kung ayaw ko, anong gagawin mo?”.

In his Facebook account, Hwa claimed that he wasn’t able to capture the whole argument between the lady passenger and the flight stewardess. However, he emphasised that he was shocked with the “rude” stewardess’ answer to the passenger’s question.

Several netizens expressed their opinion regarding the issue. Based on the video, most of them believe that the flight stewardess did not do anything wrong. Instead, they accused Hwa as the one being rude in the situation.

As of press time, the administration of Philippine Airlines has not released a statement regarding the issue.
