LG Philippines Welcomes Team Kramer as LG Ultra HDTV’s Newest Ambassador
Together with new ambassador and social media celebrity family Team Kramer, LG Electronics is to set the rapidly growing TV market on fire as it launches the new 2014 Ultra High Definition (UHD) TV lineup with Real 4K Technology.
Finally launched in the much awaited roadshow event at Eastwood Mall, people got to experience the Real 4K quality of LG’s newest UHD TVs with these massive ultra-clear TVs set up around the area.
Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Doug Kramer, actress-host Cheska Kramer and their kids Kendra, Scarlett and Gavin Kramer, more known collectively as the Team Kramer, graced and enjoyed the event as they get to enjoy firsthand the high-end specifications of the new TV lineup. And for Doug, who revealed himself in the event as a proud couch potato when it comes to TV and home theater, now says that he can finally truly enjoy his massive collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays, especially with Kendra and Scarlett who might sing along on scores, just as they did on the event with Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go” as it played.
“As a techie, I’m very picky when it comes to choosing the right television. Display quality should be picture perfect,” said Doug Kramer. “The first time I saw LG’s UHD TV, I was like, ‘Wow!’ I was really astounded with its exceptional quality that’s so rich in details. It’s definitely the perfect TV for Team Kramer. LG really puts the ‘ultra’ in Ultra HD.”
Real 4K resolution
LG raises the viewing bar higher than ever with its Real 4K resolution. It is the future of digital picture, attaining a resolution 4 times that of Full HD, with a stunning 8.3 million pixels for flawless picture and incredibly vivid details.
One of the key factors of the TV screen is the panel, determining the quality of the TV. LG’s IPS 4K Panel is known for its quality and reliability by professionals in the display industry, from broadcasting to the medical sector, delivering breathtakingly real color from all angles on Real 4K resolution.
LG’s lineup of UHD TVs delivers true 3D experience of immersive and crystal-clear 3D with comfortable experience, taking 3D to a whole new level. With quadrupled resolution, the 3D images look more splendid than ever, offering ultra clarity close to reality. LG’s UHD TV is virtually almost flicker-free and has the capability to upscale Full HD 3D movies into Real 4K level.
Smarter viewing webOS
The simplicity of webOS enables consumers to enjoy Smart TV with convenience, enjoyment and easiness. Unlike other Smart TVs, LG’s UHD TV saves the users from all the cluttered content, putting everything in a simple, easy-to-navigate horizontal menu. The unique architecture of the webOS makes searching and viewing content, connecting with other devices and the initial TV setup process incredibly smooth and seamless, bringing back the simplicity of controlling your TV.
Ultra real sound
The sound of LG UHD TV is just as impressive as its visual power. With the full impact of a multi-channel, forward-facing speaker system, it is essentially a sound bar within a TV. It boasts of a highly refined sound quality, powered by premium and leading audio solution, harman/kardon, complementing splendidly the brilliant Ultra HD visuals.
The ‘Ultra HD revolution’
“LG started to spark the Ultra UD revolution across the globe when it unveiled the world’s first 84-inch Ultra HD TV back in 2012,” said Hoony Bae, LG Philippines vice president for Home Entertainment division, said. “This year, LG is fanning the flames even more, letting our consumers go beyond their usual TV experience with the immersive Ultra HD quality available in different sizes and prices.”
Several models from the 2014 LG Ultra HD TV lineup, including the UB9800, UB9500, UB9300 and UB8500 will already be in the Philippine market. More exciting products are slated for arrival in the second half of 2014.
